Being one of the best beloved destinations of foreigner tourists in Vietnam, Hoian ancient town is location where tourists can stroll in the small streets to discover the values of the past which are preserved since many centuries, meet the opened and friendly local peoples, or simply enjoy the peaceful ambiance that they cannot find out in other places.
Located in Quang Nam province, on the north bank near the mouth of the Thu Bon River, the ancient town used to be an active trading port from the 15th to the 19th centuries for the countries in South-East and East-Asia and all around the world. Therefore, the town combines several influences especially from Chinese, Japanese and European cultures.
