“Một – Hai – Ba – dzô” (means “one – two – three – drink”) – it’s the way Vietnamese people say “cheers” at the drinking tables. There is also another slogan “trăm phần trăm” (means 100%, bottom up). Hearing that sound, if you smile with them, say hello or make the same way like them, we think you can have the new friends.

Almost tourists in Vietnam are excited when they see and hear that. During your trips in Vietnam, you can see the Vietnamese people say cheers like that everywhere in the restaurants or the eating-houses along the sidewalks.
Normally, after the work (17:00) especially in weekend, the restaurants’ ambience is very animated, because many young people concentrate to drink. Around the drinking tables, they chat together about many subjects: such as jobs, family, football, economic, politic…. There are many reasons to make appointment and drink beers together. These ones drink when they are sad, others drinks when they have fun, others drinks only to make friends or even to search the job or business opportunities.

Local people in the North drink “Bia Hoi” (draft beer) or “Bia Hà Nội” (Hanoi beer) or “Bia Đại Việt” (Dai Viet beer). In the Center, they prefer Huda beer, and in the South they prefer Saigon beer or 333 beer (in bottle or can). Of course, there are also other international marks like Heineken, Tiger, Carlsberg, Sapporo, Budweiser… etc… that you can drink. However, it will be more interesting if we taste local beer made by the country we travel to. Many of our travelers say that they like local beers of Vietnam.
