For you, a stroll of Vietnam through the must-see sites such as Hanoi and Saigon which still preserve the images of the French colonial era, the former imperial capital of Huê, the ancient quiet city of Hoïan, the well-known beach of Nha Trang and an extensive and fertile Mekong delta will be unforgettable experiences in your life. An explorer of Vietnam in 2 weeks from North to South will be worthy of a new page in your book of life.

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Arrival Hanoi, the capital and the economic-political center in Vietnam, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Free time at leisure.

Day 2: Ninh Binh (“Halong Bay on land”)

Trang An cave is recognized by UNESCO in 2012. A spiritual beauty of the sacred Bai Dinh Temple combined with the cave world to communicate with each other.

Spending on a drive 100km to Ninh Binh for a full day tour Bai Dinh and Trang An. Visit the Buddha prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues. Lunch at a restaurant with local special dishes. Continue to visit Trang An Scenic Landscape complex. Get on a rowing boat (small sampan) traveling along the small river with scenic mountain and green fields landscape. Boat takes you about 2 hours to visit cave complex of Trang An: Lam cave, Vang cave, Thanh Truot cave and Dai cave, the scenery of mountain and rivers – Halong on land of Ninh Binh.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay

This morning enjoy a scenic drive through beautiful rice fields of Red River Delta. On arrival in Ha Long, embark on the junk for your overnight stay on Ha Long Bay. Admire the fascinating rock formations of the bay, visit caves and cruise to island for swimming, kayaking or relaxing on the beach. Stay overnight on the junk with full board seafood meals served.

Day 4: Halong - Dong Trieu Village - Hanoi

Experience the exquisite beauty of Ha Long Bay at sunrise. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, meet the locals and pass through the floating school and fish farms before disembarking.

On the way back to Hanoi, stop at Dong Trieu ceramic village and see artisans using centuries old skills to create superb vases and other ceramic items.

Conclude your day with a walk to the dike for the amazing view of the village over the lake and have a relaxing chat with villagers. Back to Hanoi, enjoy water-puppet show in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An

This morning, we will reveal you the orientation of this historic city with a cyclo ride. The ride will take you along the narrow streets in the Old Quarter and you can see many activities of locals along your ride. Visit some of the city landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Complex and Ethnology Museum before flying to Danang.

On arrival in Danang, you will be transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. Balance of the day is free at leisure.

Day 6: Hoi An

A day of discovery lies ahead as you explore the ancient town. Visit the local market before stopping by the Japanese covered bridge, overlooking Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and an ancient house.

Drive to Tra Que Vegetable Village to observe local farmers working the organic fields using traditional methods. The rich soil from this village produces some of the most flavor some vegetables and herbs in all of Hoi An. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, spend time to help water the plants or fertilize the land before return to your hotel.

Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang

Take a flight to Nha Trang. If you are feeling active, you could explore this beach city by walking. Otherwise just laze by one of the pools, on the beach, or replenish your body and soul at a spa with a tropical decorating style. This is actually an ideal time for you to take a deep breath and rest while enjoying the lovely landscapes of Nha Trang.

Day 8: Nha Trang

Embark a half day boat cruise out to Nha Trang Bay. There is the opportunity to go snorkeling, diving, water-skiing or kayaking, view the spectacular coral and tropical fish from the underwater. Enjoy a delicious tropical lunch before you return to your hotel.

Day 9: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, board your car for the city tour to the Reunification Palace, outside Notre Dame Cathedral (close for the big renovation until late 2019) and Central Post Office. Heading to Chinatown, the biggest Chinese community in the South of Vietnam for a visit. It is full of authentic restaurants as well as cheap street hawkers. .

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho

Today after your arrival to Ben Tre, explore the waters of the Mekong Delta. You will take a boat trip along one of the small branches of the river. Visit local factories, fish farm and rice paddies. Take a sampan ride (rowed boat) to see the local's lifes around and enjoy home lunch with traditional dishes of Mekong Delta. Say farewell with the locals and spend on a drive to Can Tho.

Day 11: Can Tho - Chau Doc

Travel by boat to the township of Cai Rang and its floating market and grap a coffee to start your day. Drive to Chau Doc near Vietnam-Cambodia border. Continue your exploration at Tra Su Forest and travel by sampan to visit this eco reserve of 850ha home to more than 100 species of water birds and colonies bats. Say hello to a small village of ethnic Khmer and chat with monks at the local monastery.

Day 12: Chau Doc

Discover Vinh Te canal, next stop at Ba Chua Xu Temple and Sam Mountain, climbing the mountain to view the Mekong Delta from its peak. On the way back, the boat brings you visit one of the many floating fish farms. After leaving the fish farm, proceed to the Cham Village (Muslim Village), opportunities to contemplate Cham People’s Culture as well as visit Cham People’s weave fabric. Then, enjoy a view of Chau Doc Floating Market.

Day 13: Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh City

Return to Ho Chi Minh City, feast your eyes on the dizzying variety of greens. You will pass by the water world of the mighty Mekong, where boats, houses and markets float upon the innumerable rivers, canals and streams that criss-cross the landscape like arteries.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City departure

On your last day, no activities are scheduled until sending off. Your holiday concludes today after breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Flight

Visa

You may require a visa to enter Vietnam. Your consultant will be happy to advise you on visa requirements.

Passport

Please ensure that you have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining after your return date. You will also need at least one blank page for each of the countries you are visiting.

Travel Insurance

You will require a comprehensive travel insurance that covers you for medical costs associated with hospitalisation, emergency travel and repatriation back to your home country. We offer our customers a specially discounted insurance policy, ideally suited to the needs that a trip such as this creates. Mention it in the enquiry form and we will send you a quote to suit your needs.

Vaccinations and Malaria Prevention

You will undoubtedly require vaccinations for your visit to Asia. Please consult your doctor or a vaccination clinic for the most up-to-date advice. They will also be able to advise you of the most suitable anti-malarial medication if required. It is important that you do this well in advance of your departure date.

Booking Procedure

Only once you are completely happy with any holiday itinerary we create for you will we ask for a payment. In order that we can secure availability for your booking we would typically require a deposit of 20%.
