WEEKEND in BAGAN (from Hanoi)

Fly from Hanoi to Yangon after working time. Upon arrival in Yangon, pick up and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, make your own exploration Yangon by night on foot. Dinner on your own. 

Overnight in Yangon

Boxed breakfast prepared by the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Bagan. Upon arrival Bagan, discover the colourful Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi (a cave temple with exquisite jatakas mural paintings), the elegant Htilominlo Temple (plaster carvings) and the Tharaba Gate. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant en route.

In the afternoon, visit Ananda temple (an architectural masterpiece of early-style temple), Ananda Okkyaung (one of the few surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period), Thatbyinnyu Temple (the highest temple in Bagan, rising to 61 m) and Dhammayangyi Temple (remarkable brickwork). Enjoy watching sunset over the old Bagan at one of the highest temples and you will have an unforgettable experience. Return to the hotel. Diner on your own.

Overnight Bagan 

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, meet with your guide and transfer to visit Sule Pagoda, dating back more than 2,000 years. From there, proceed to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most popular and well-known pagoda in Yangon. After visit the two famous pagodas, transfer to Yangon airport for your flight return to Hanoi.
