THE FIRST TIME HOCHIMINH CITY HOSTS THE ORCHID FESTIVAL

This Orchid Festival is expected to hold on the occasion of 30 April and 1 May 2019, because there are a lot of tourists who visit HCMC in this period. Moreover, it is the time when the orchid flowers blossom a lot and become the most beautiful. The organizer does not decide the venue yet, but surely it will be held at a park.

This Orchid Festival is organized to attract visitors and promote the orchid industry, while honoring the orchid growers of the city.

There are over 800 orchid species in Vietnam, including orchids that grow wild in the forest or are grown in orchid nurseries in many places, including Da Lat, the Central Highlands provinces, Hochiminh City (Saigon), Yen Bai province, Moc Chau (Son La province).
